Decades of experience in commodities trading

OLIVER ROE

FOUNDER & CEO

Oliver is responsible for the overall management of the business. Oliver has been in the commodities and structured trade finance sector since 2014. Most recently, holding a senior trader role at Gemcorp, a physical commodity trading and investment firm based in London, providing strategic trade and supply chain solutions to sovereigns and growth-focused corporates in emerging markets.

Prior to this, he worked at his family business, the Roe Group. The Roe Group is a rebar fabricator in the UK supplying steel reinforcing bars to the UK construction market.

Oliver started his career at RBRG Metalloyd, a steel and raw materials trading business owned by the Reuben Brothers where he cut his teeth in the operations department and then the steel trading department. He was part of the firm during the transition to Gerald Metals when material from the Far East into the UK and Europe was becoming increasingly dominant.

Harry Busbridge

HEAD OF STEEL

Harry is responsible for managing relationships with key suppliers and customers and overseeing product development. Harry has been appointed as Head of Steel to advance and expand the steel desk within the trading group.

Prior to this role, Harry held trading positions at one of Europe’s leading steel trading firms based in London, where he gained valuable trading office experience, learning trade and finance terms, documentation, and distribution. Harry soon progressed to trading flat and long products from global mills to the UK & Ireland, alongside building a new trade revenue for the company.

Harry’s extensive experience dealing with UK&I markets dating back to 2016, has founded long standing relationships throughout the supply chain, working closely with logistical partners he’s able to offer innovative and dynamic trade solutions to suit customers’ needs.
